One of the main draws of the city of Barcelona – as well as the fact that it’s a buzzing city with a beach – is the architecture of Gaudí. Antoni Gaudí was born in 1852 and his work is visible throughout the city. His approach to design set him apart from many of his more traditional contemporaries, reflected in his use of nature as a source of inspiration.
