500x300Known as ‘Britain’s sweetest music festival’, Summer Sundae hosts acts as diverse as Blur guitarist-turned-solo-artist Graham Coxon, electro-dance trio Factory Floor and pop-rock boy band McFly. Now in its 11th year, the festival has grown from an initial one-day concept, with headliners Morcheeba and Lambchop, into three days jam-packed with bands. Celebrating its 10th year and still going stronger than ever, the 3-day Weekender prides itself on a mix of diverse acts, and this year is no exception with a choice of over 100 to see.
The range of performers spans Friday’s headliner, lo-fi blues showman Seasick Steve, to Britain’s own dubstep virtuoso Roots Manuva; leaving no doubt that you will find something to tickle your fancy.
In a UK festival exclusive, José Gonzalés will showcase his work with the band Junip, and former Beta Band front-man Steve Mason will give a solo performance of his latest eclectic sounds. To change things up even more the festival will have the theme of ‘beside the seaside’, with a number of seaside entertainers, deckchairs and a sandy beach.
