Pete Doherty must be sweating. and not from a comedown. He has just faced two daunting milestones.The tainted dreamer has just turned 30 and has just released his first solo album. This would arouse a dampness on the brow of most, let alone the modern day Peter Pan that is Doherty.
Peter Doherty releases the single, ‘Last of the English Roses’ on March 9th from his forthcoming debut solo album, ‘Grace/ Wastelands’ (out March 16th). The album, ‘Grace/Wastelands’ was recorded at Olympic Studios in London last autumn and is produced by legendary producer Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur).
