Team Mario & Team Sonic have joined forces to bring gamers the fantastic Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. Sega & Nintendo have teamed up in an exciting partnership to bring together for the first time two Iconic characters from the world of gaming. This exciting game for the Nintendo Wii and now for the Nintendo DS system has many cool interactive features and includes 20 authentic Olympic events played out in stylised Beijing 2008 Olympic venues.

Players can use one of 16 characters 8 from the world of Mario and 8 from the world of Sonic, all competing with their own talents and athletic capabilities in order to win Olympic Gold medals.

This game truly shows how great the Nintendo Wii system is as the controls replicate the actions that offer the best results for each event like swinging the Wii Remote to simulate the hammer throw, notching the Nunchuk to shoot arrows, and replicating swimming strokes.

DS users can interact with the game with the unique touch screen & stylus. The DS version has two new exclusive events and features eight Dream events. Gamers can also learn about the history of the Olympic Games through trivia & quizzes.
