Nokia N82 Black version
Most features are identical to the original Nokia N82, but the Black version has a software upgrade which means the handset now supports geotagging so it can record the GPS position of your photograph, so its date and exact location is stored.
This is useful for sorting photos, but certain filesharing sites can also read the GPS location data for easy identification. Very smart.
The N82 is not the most stylish of handsets but underneath the exterior, this handset has some amazing features. With A-GPS (assisted GPS), a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, WiFi, HSDPA high-speed data, a stereo FM radio and microSD expandable memory.
Other great features on the handset include macro mode for close-ups, auto-focus, and on device photo editing, so you can airbrush out those unwanted spots. The Nokia N82 lets you shoot video high video recording quality for a cameraphone.
It shoots and supports the MP4 and 3GP video file formats and boasts features such as digital video stabilisation and settings for white balance, scene and colour tone setting and on-device video editing.
In addition, the black N82 also comes with a free trial of Nokia’s navigation package and support for N-Gage gaming.
The N82 definitely has some impressive features and definitely one of the best cameraphones producing crisp clear quality pictures and the video functions are just as strong.
