Glee Sessions
Everest were first on the Studio stage at the Glee and gained lots of new fans who hadn't heard them before. Gayle Henry's vocals captivated the audience for the 30 minute set. The band have just recorded some tracks with EMI and are changing their name to the Readymades so be sure to look out for them in the future.
Singer songwriter Vijay Kishore wowed the entire crowd with his amazing voice taking each member of the audience with him on a journey through his songs. With just him and a guitar the sound was amazing. He has been touring as a solo artist for the last 4 years so if you haven't seen him yet make sure you do soon before he starts to sell out venues.
Jayne Powell dashed across town after doing a gig at the Ceol Castle and was joined on stage by Everest's singer Gail. Jayne has been performing up down the country for several years and developed a strong following. Her beautiful vocals, rich harmonies and intricate guitar melodies set her in a different league to many of her contemporaries.
If you do see that any of these people are playing then make sure you go and see them.
