Last week in the 11th district of Paris the Walter Van Beirendonck blank show hit La Bataclan with fun and force as part of the forever anticipated glittering spectacle otherwise known as Paris Fashion Week.

But it wasn’t all glossy MAC air kisses and gold-plated fashion daggers. Something much more sinister was prowling on the catwalk and down the backs of the sexy male models – life-sized crocodile bags by London based accessories company Chris & Tibor.

Made for Walter’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection titled Read My Skin, the bags form part of a collection sold on the Chris & Tibor website that feature the most fun and practical pieces. Bigger, better and crazier, if it’s possible, the crocodile bags you see here are of differing characters – the red one appears to cutely hug a hunk. While the blue is more in keeping with it’s reptilian nature, fiercely crawling up the model’s back in a hungry manner.

Also included in this online bonanza of bags are a life-sized tiger, robots and simple buzz words such as “FIRE” and “FLY”.  And there’s the hope belt bags, the nylon W gym bag, the ‘Read my W skin’ side bag and leather belts, the W side bag and leather harnesses - available in a variety of checked fabrics too.
