Following up 2007′s “The World Is Yours”, Ian Brown is back with his sixth studio album “My Way”, an autobiographical recording covering his time in music. The idea behind the album came when collaborator Dave McCraken was asked to write a song for Kanye West. “Amanda Ghost wrote the melody, Dave wrote the music and they wanted me to write some lyrics and it had to be a sort of autobiographical song for Kanye.” Something West was pleased with, his reaction being “Ian Brown-Stone Roses, hell yes.”
