On Saturday the 13th June the Love Music Hate Racism arrives in Wolverhampton for its first ever airing in the city. At the head of this worthy cause is one of the best things to catapult out of Birmingham, the Scarlet Harlots.
From having supported the likes of The Twang and Jamie T to coming second in the Orange Unsigned Acts competition, Scarlet Harlots are ones to be carefully watched. With strong bass, big beats, punk guitar (dubbed PUNK STEP) combined with the charismatic figure and lyricism of front-man Sam Baylis, the Love Music Hate Racism gig should definitely be at the top of your to do list.
Also confirmed alongside Scarlet Harlots is alternative pop punk band The Graham Parsnip Liquidiser Torture Think-Tank. Get your tickets from Midland Box; 0870 320 7000 or visit the website www.wolvescivic.co.uk. Tickets are priced at £6, so there’s no excuse to miss out!
