Golfing gear of yesteryear has well and truly made a come back. Lyle and Scott polo’s, Sergio Tacchini V necks and Farah slacks can be found a long way from the 19th Hole.

From Selfridges to Urban Outfitters boys are able to buy the retro goodies without raiding their dad’s 70’s wardrobes for these vintage must haves. Of course the brands have tweaked and revamped their styles for the modern man meaning Pink polo shirts under Lemon V necks teamed with Burgundy slacks are a thing of the past.

The latest retro brand to make its awaited comeback is the fabulous Gabicci. Established in the early seventies in London, and named after the Italian seaside town ‘Gabicce Mare’, 2008 sees the brand celebrating its 35th Anniversary.

The memorable Gabicci ‘G’ became an iconic style symbol for men of the 1970’s and 1980’s and Gabicci vintage is bringing it back with a stylish slim fit. This season’s styles encompass key original knits, with suede trims together with jersey tops and polo’s inspired by the rich archives. The limited edition styles utilise alcantara suede which is used on supercar interiors and the Gabicci logo is gold plated for a real vintage look (limited to only 150pcs per style).

Of course the brand has already got some iconic followers from Oasis, The Enemy and The Courteeners and if you want to get your hands on them check out Asos and Coggles.
